# Templates

Templates are pre-configured setfiles for some common Hydra Vision strategies.

As a general rule we do not provide complete setfiles due to the nature of Hydra Vision and financial regulations, as we are not financial advisors. Our templates configure popular strategies or proof of concept ideas we are working on. They may not have the correct Unit of Measures as every Asset generally requires its own customisation (e.g. Zones, Step Size and Volume).

Click on <mark style="color:$primary;">`New`</mark> from the Setfile Vault and select <mark style="color:$primary;">`Start from Template`</mark> .

The template library will be shown with all the latest setfile templates. Each one is described, and the Template Meta panel will display key characteristics and intents about the template.

The meta-data can be useful in identifying the type of strategy and other key characteristics.

Press the <mark style="color:$success;">`Select`</mark> button, label your setfile and it will be added to your Setfile Vault as version 1, ready to be customised according to your own preferences.
