# Risk page

The Risk page focuses on drawdown — how much pain the account and each symbol have gone through to produce the returns.

#### Account Risk

| Card                  | Meaning                                                                                                                                                                                      |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Max DD (Equity %)** | Deepest the account equity fell below its peak, as a percentage, within the range selected on the chart below. |
| **Max DD (Monetary)** | The same, in account currency. |
| **Avg Drawdown** | Average equity drawdown in account currency over the selected range. Each value counts for as long as it lasted, so a drawdown that held for a day weighs more than one that lasted minutes. |
| **Current DD** | How far equity is below its peak right now. Green under 5%, amber under 15%, red above. |
| **Worst Grid DD** | Largest floating loss any single grid reached. |
| **Max Grid Depth** | Most positions any grid has held at once. |
| **Peak Density** | Average peak density across grids. |
| **Avg Sharpe** | Average of the per-symbol Sharpe figures (see Risk by Symbol). Green above 1, amber between 0 and 1, red if negative. |

{% hint style="info" %}
The first four cards follow the **7D / 30D / 3M / All** tabs on the Drawdown Over Time chart. Switch to **All** to see the account's worst-ever figures.
{% endhint %}

#### Drawdown Over Time

The account's equity drawdown percentage plotted over time as a step line. Each value holds until the next change. The fill is green, amber or red depending on the average drawdown across the range, weighted by time: green under 5%, amber under 15%, red above. A flat line at zero means equity was at a new high. Hover for drawdown %, drawdown amount, equity and balance at that point.

**Quiet stretches:** when balance and equity stay unchanged for more than 12 hours (weekends, nights without trading, dormant spells), that stretch is drawn narrow and shaded. This leaves the chart's width for the periods when something happened. Stretches of three days or more are also labelled, for example **5 days quiet**.

On a long history the chart can switch to one point per day. The hover label then adds **day close**. If nothing has been recorded in the last 7 days (for example, because Hydra Agent was switched off), the chart opens on **All**. If the selected range holds nothing, the chart says when the account last recorded data.

#### Risk by Symbol

One row per symbol, sortable by any column:

| Column                        | Meaning                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        |
| ----------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Worst DD** / **Avg DD** | Largest and average floating loss grids on this symbol reached. |
| **Max Depth** / **Avg Depth** | Most and average positions held at once. |
| **Avg Density** | Average peak density of grids on this symbol. |
| **Max Duration** | Longest a grid on this symbol has run. |
| **Widest Grid** | Largest price range a grid on this symbol spanned, in pips. |
| **Sharpe** | Average grid profit divided by how much grid profits vary. A measure of *consistency*: above 1 (green) means steady results; between 0 and 1 (amber) means profitable but erratic; negative (red) means losing on average. |
| **Health** | A score from 1 to 5 that compares this symbol against your account's own average on depth, drawdown, density, grid return, return per lot and duration. Sharpe is the exception: it is scored on fixed bands rather than against your average. **4.0+** (green) is healthier than your typical symbol; **3.0–3.9** (amber) is about average; **under 3.0** (red) is below your typical symbol. |

#### Grid Depth vs Drawdown

A scatter plot with one dot per symbol: average depth across the bottom, average drawdown up the side. Symbols in the top-right go deep *and* draw down heavily. Hover a dot for the full figures.

#### Grid Drawdown by Symbol

A donut comparing the **average drawdown per grid** on each symbol, so you can see which symbols account for most of your grid drawdown. The centre, labelled **Avg DD**, shows the average across symbols.
