# Quick reference: what "good" looks like

The table below explains how to read the main figures. Where a figure is colour-coded on the live pages, the bands shown are the ones the pages use. They describe ranges, not targets.

| Profit Factor       | Not colour-coded. Total profit of winning grids ÷ total loss of losing grids. Under 1.0 the grids lost more than they made · 1.0 is break-even · above 1.0 they made more than they lost; 2.0 means twice as much |
| Sharpe (per symbol) | Above 1 green (steady results) · 0 to 1 amber (profitable but uneven) · negative red (losing on average)                                                                                                          |
