# Overview page

The Overview is your daily dashboard: how the account is doing right now, what is running, and how recent grids have performed.

#### Account

| Card | Meaning |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Balance** | Your account balance — realised money only, ignoring open positions. |
| **Equity** | Balance plus the floating P\&L of everything currently open. The small line beneath shows equity as a percentage above or below balance. |
| **Open P\&L** | Total floating P\&L of all open positions, with the number of positions and lots underneath. |
| **Today P\&L** | Realised profit or loss from deals closed today. |
| **30 Day P\&L** | Realised profit or loss from deals closed in the last 30 days. |

#### Grid Performance

Summary figures across every grid that has completed on this account.

| Card | Meaning |
| ------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Grid Return** | Total net profit from all grids divided by the average worst drawdown a grid reached, shown as a multiple (e.g. `3.2x`). It answers "how much did I make for each unit of risk a typical grid took?" Higher is better. |
| **Win Rate** | Percentage of completed grids that closed with a net profit. |
| **Avg P\&L / Grid** | Average net profit per completed grid. |
| **Return / Lot** | Total net profit divided by total lots traded — profit per lot of volume. Useful for comparing symbols with different trade sizes. |
| **Best Grid** / **Worst Grid** | The single most and least profitable grids. |
| **Worst DD** | The largest floating loss any single grid reached before it closed. |
| **Max Depth** | The most positions any single grid has ever held at once. |

#### Equity Curve

A chart of **Balance** (grey) and **Equity** over time. Use the **7D / 30D / 3M / All** tabs to change the range. **All** covers the account's whole history.

* The equity line has one colour for the whole range, set by the average drawdown across that range: green under 5%, amber under 15%, red above. The average is weighted by time, so a drawdown that lasted a day counts for more than one that lasted a few minutes.
* Both lines are drawn as steps. A new point is only stored when balance or equity changes (plus one a day while nothing changes), so each value holds flat until the next change.
* Where the equity line dips below the balance line, you had open positions in floating loss at that moment. Where it rises above, they were in profit.
* **Quiet stretches** are times when balance and equity did not change for more than 12 hours, such as weekends or spells with nothing open. Each one is squeezed into a narrow shaded band, so the width of the chart goes to the periods with activity. Stretches of 3 days or more are labelled with their length, for example "5 days quiet". The dates on the axis are still the real dates.
* On long ranges the chart can switch to one point per day. The hover box then shows "· day close" after the date.
* Small flags on the chart mark **deposits (▲)** and **withdrawals (▼)**, so a step in the balance line is explained.
* **Current DD** is how far equity sits below its peak right now; **Peak DD** is the deepest that gap got within the selected range. Green under 5%, amber under 15%, red above.
* Hover any point to see balance, equity and drawdown at that moment.
* If nothing has been recorded on the account in the last 7 days, the chart opens on **All**. A range with nothing in it shows "Nothing recorded in this range", with the date of the last record.

#### Active Grids

Every grid currently running, one per row.

| Column | Meaning |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Grid ID** | The grid's number. The same number appears in the Open Positions table, so positions can be matched to their grid. |
| **Symbol** + phase chip | The instrument, with a chip showing which stage the grid is in: **Trail** (early — few positions, riding the move), **PCL** (deeper — the close engine is managing a group of positions), or **Hunter** (the Hunter engine is actively working the grid). |
| **Dir** | Buy or Sell. |
| **Duration** | How long the grid has been open. |
| **Positions** | Number of positions open in the grid right now. |
| **Volume** | Total lots currently open in the grid. |
| **Realised** | Profit already locked in from positions this grid has closed so far. |
| **Floating** | Current unrealised P\&L of the positions still open. |
| **Total P\&L** | Realised plus floating — what the grid would be worth if it closed this instant. |
| **Events** | How many close events the grid has had so far. |

Click a row (or the **⌄** button) to expand it and see the grid's events in order: when, which engine, how many positions and lots were closed, the P\&L of that event, and how many positions remained afterwards.

#### Profit Attribution

A donut showing where your net profit has come from, by engine. The centre shows total net profit; the legend lists each engine with its share and number of events.

* Only engines with a **positive** net contribution appear in the donut. An engine that lost money overall (for example **Anchor SL** or a risk stop) is left out of the chart so the shares still add up to 100% of the profit made. The panel header lists any engine left out this way, with the amount it lost, after the words "not shown (net loss)".
* **PCL Engines** can be clicked to drill in and see how its profit splits between **Whole** closes and the various **Dynamic** modes (triage, compact, single hunter, multi hunter, finish). Use **Back** or the breadcrumb to return.
* The footer shows **Gross**, **Commission**, **Swap** and **Net** for whatever level you are viewing, so you can see how much trading costs took off the top.

#### PCL Engine Breakdown

A donut of net profit by individual PCL engine, with the number of times each one **fired** (closed positions). Hover a slice for that engine's gross profit, costs, average profit per fire, and the average grid drawdown at the moment it fired.

#### Grid Monthly Returns

A calendar heatmap: one cell per month, coloured by net P\&L from grids that closed in that month. Deeper green is a stronger month; red shades are losing months; a dash means no grids closed. Hover a cell for the month's net P\&L, average per grid, and how many grids won and lost.

#### Recent Completed Grids

The last ten grids to close, most recent first. Columns are **Symbol**, **Dir**, **Net P\&L**, **Return** (net profit ÷ that grid's worst drawdown, as a multiple), **Events**, **Duration** and **Closed** (when the grid closed). For the full list with filters, use the **History** page.

#### Open Positions

Every individual open position from MT5. The first column, **Grid ID**, shows which grid each position belongs to. The other columns are the standard MT5 fields: **Ticket**, **Symbol**, **Type** (buy or sell), **Volume**, **Open Price**, **Current** price, **Profit** (floating), **SL** (stop loss) and **Opened**. Click a column heading to sort, for example by Grid ID to see each grid's positions together.
