# Broker & Account

Manage broker specific settings

**Commission** has no setting. Hydra Vision reads the commission your broker actually charges from the first position it opens, and remembers it across restarts. (The old Commission per lot and Commission Type settings have both been removed.)

<details>

<summary>Max Spread</summary>

`Integer` (points)

Default: 4

The largest spread, in **points**, at which Hydra Vision will act. A point is the smallest price step your broker quotes for the symbol (on a 5-digit forex pair, 10 points = 1 pip). A spread exactly equal to this value is still within tolerance.

It's good practice to understand the spread range of the asset you are trading, and therefore what an unacceptable spread would be. If you do not know, you can run Asset Profiler on your chosen asset/s for 2-3 months in Strategy Tester to get a better understanding.

If the spread exceeds this value, the EA pauses new entries, PCL closes and stop loss activity, and any Stop Losses it has placed are removed. When the spread comes back within tolerance, trading resumes and the stop losses are placed again. The Experts tab records both moments (*SPREAD BREACH* and *SPREAD OK*). This can help with Stop Loss hunting during sharp market moves and during market closing/opening times. A higher tolerance means the EA intervenes less often.

<details>

<summary>Reset profit tracking anchor</summary>

`Boolean`

Default: false

Used in persistence tracking. If the EA has to restart for some reason, and you do not want to retain the historical persistence, you can reset by enabling this. When enabled, the saved profit-tracking values and the saved analytics state for this chart are cleared at start-up.

<details>

<summary>Enable Journal</summary>

`Boolean`

Default: true

Print Journal entries as the EA trades. Advised to keep on

</details>

<details>

<summary>Hide EA in logging</summary>

`Boolean`

Default: false

Obfuscates the EA name in the Journal prints
