# Hydra Vision portal — October updates

Changes to the Hydra Vision portal, 17 to 28 October 2026

#### New

* **Agents page:** every VPS, terminal and chart running Hydra Vision on one page, with alerts, checks, saved state, logs on request, commands and closes, and a record of everything sent. It replaces Chart Control: everything Chart Control did, and more, is on the Agents page. See The Agents page and Hydra Agent v3.0.24.
* **Hydra support access:** for a support ticket, you can let Hydra support see your Agents page and fetch logs until support closes it, you revoke it, the ticket closes, or 7 days pass. Support can never send commands or close positions. See The Agents page, Hydra support access.
* **Settings Diff:** pick up to 100 of your backtests and see exactly which settings differ between them.
  * **Matrix:** every setting that differs across the runs, side by side, with each run's headline results.
  * **Evolution:** run by run, what changed compared with an earlier run: the closest one (fewest differences), the one just before, or a baseline you choose.
  * **Coverage:** for one setting, each value you tested, which runs used it, and the range of a result across them.
  * Pick runs one by one or a whole test group at once. Settings are shown by their portal names.
* **Hydra Community:** sign in to the Hydra Community forum with your Hydra Vision account. You need an active licence and a community nickname. Trial and Fusion members get their own groups, which follow your licence: if it ends, your community access ends with it.

#### Changed

* **Compare:** each run is titled by its backtest name, with the symbol underneath, in the export bar, chart legend, at-a-glance bars and export warnings. Runs without a name use the symbol, numbered when two share it. The table header stays in view as you scroll.
* **Setfile Builder:**
  * The builder fits the window: a short section takes less room, and a long one scrolls inside with the section menu still in view. The view switches sit under the section list.
  * The Find shortcut reads **Ctrl K** on Windows (it showed ⌘K, which on Windows opens Cast), and **/** opens Find as well.
  * The Issues tab no longer lists the internal settings-schema check, which was meant for our own setfile authors.
* **Portal pages size themselves** to their content in the portal, so there are no blank areas or double scroll bars around embedded tools.

#### Fixed

* **Agents page, AutoTrading (28 October):** an account no longer shows AutoTrading as Off, or "Needs attention", just because "Disable algorithmic trading via external Python API" is ticked in MetaTrader. The page now uses what your Hydra Vision charts report. See Hydra Agent v3.0.25.
